Cookeville – Extra Mile Day Proclaimed By Mayor Ricky Shelton will be on Friday, November 1st. This is to recognize and highlight the belief that communities are made stronger through individuals and organizations dedicated to “going the extra mile” in volunteerism and service. It’s a day to shine a light on and celebrate those who go the extra mile in order to make a difference and lift up fellow members of our community.
