Carthage – Hometown Christmas Celebration and Christmas Parade will be on the square in Carthage on Sunday, December 1st. Horse drawn carriage rides, music performances, live nativity scenes, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot chocolate, and lighting of the courthouse tree. Christmas Open House is from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The day’s events will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm. The Christmas parade begins at 4:30 pm. Come enjoy this free community event.
