Brydstown – Homemade Soap Making Class Presented By Cordell Hull State Park. Saturday, February 6th at 10:00am.
Ranger Monique will teach you how to make lye soap from scratch! You’ll learn a centuries old skill with a modern twist. You will be working with caustic materials so you will need to wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed toe shoes. At the end of the lesson, you’ll take home your very own mold filled with about 2 pounds of soap you made yourself! This class is $35 per person and is limited to 5 people.
Participants should be prepared to practice social distancing of at least 6 feet and are encouraged to wear face mask. A limited supply of hand sanitizer will be available. For more information call (931) 864-3247.
