Parts of Cookeville experienced a brief power outage Monday afternoon.
Parts of Walnut Avenue, Interstate Drive, and Spring Street experienced the loss of power.
Cookeville Electric Operation Superintendent Carl Haney said an equipment failure on a South Oak Street pole can be blamed for the cause.
“Not really sure what caused that, whether it was just weather from the last few days or what,” Haney said.
The outage first reported around 3:05 p.m. Crews managed to restore power to all customers by 4:00 p.m.
