Dodson Branch School Getting New Cafeteria Tables And Lighting

Dodson Branch School getting some upgrades in its cafeteria.

Jackson County Director of Schools Kristy Brown said new tables with school logos and back lit lighting in the kitchen will be ready by next year.

“Really updating that and it’s needed,” Brown said. “It’s been a while, and so kids really take pride in that take care of those things when we are able to do that. That’s going to be I think a big surprise for them when they get there in the morning and it’s all new.”

Brown said the project was made possible through leftover money in the school’s nutrition fund. Brown said the work will be completed in-house.
