6th District Republican Congressman and Tennessee gubernatorial candidate Diane Black will run an ad during the Super Bowl urging people to stand for the game’s national anthem.
According to a press release from Black’s campaign manager, the ad comes in response to the NFL refusing to run an American Veterans ad urging Super Bowl attendees to stand for the national anthem.
The 30 second ad will air in Tennessee during the Super Bowl pregame show on Sunday.
