Deputies Find Four Ounces Of Meth During Traffic Stop

A Cookeville woman faces drug charges following a Wednesday traffic stop for speeding.

Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies charged Macara S. Page with manufacturing, delivering, selling, and possessing methamphetamine.

Macara S. Page faces charges after deputies found four ounces of meth during a traffic stop Wednesday.

An arrest warrant said authorities conducted a search of the vehicle after a K-9 received positive indication for drugs. Deputy Brandon Burnette’s report said a backpack belonging to Page contained approximately 4 ounces of meth.

Authorities arrested Page and transported her to the Putnam County Jail for booking. She has already posted $11,000 bond.
