Deputies Arrest Man Wanted In Three States

Putnam County authorities have arrested a man wanted in three states and two area counties.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested 55-year-old Jack Clifford Lovell around 8:40 a.m Tuesday morning at a home on Prosperity Drive.

Sheriff Eddie Farris said Lovell had warrants out for his arrest in Warren County and Roane County on charges of theft. He also had active warrants in Lauderdale County Mississippi for kidnapping a minor and attempting to commit forcible sexual intercourse with a minor.

Lovell is currently being held in custody at the Putnam County Jail awaiting pickup from Warren County.
