Demolition of Fall Creek Falls Inn To Start In April

State officials have announced that Fall Creek Falls inn, restaurant, and conference center will officially close April 2nd in order to get ready for a $25 million rebuild.

Officials said plans include demolishing two structures and building one inn with roughly 85 rooms, a restaurant, and conference center.

The project puts 31 full-time and potentially 27 part-time jobs at stake. State officials said those workers will receive severance, tuition assistance at state higher education institutions, and potential unemployment benefits.

The project is expected to take two years to complete.
