Demolition Begins On LA’s Stadium

Demolition began Tuesday on Livingston Academy’s football stadium.

This marks the first step in the process of building the new stadium. Overton School Board Chair Mike Hayes said that the first phase of the project is set to include new lights, a new scoreboard, and bleachers to hopefully be completed by July 31st. He said that hopefully with that phase complete, students will be able to play on the new field come the first home game on August 28th.

Hayes said that they hope to have all work completed by mid-November.
