DeKalb Co. Schools To Close For Eclipse

DeKalb County Schools will be closed the day of the total solar eclipse.

The Board of Education made the decision last night citing concerns with transportation, staffing, and attendance.

The board of education had originally planned to keep schools open the day of the eclipse.

DeKalb, Smith, Putnam, and Overton County schools will all be closed on August 21st.
