Deadline For East 10th Shopping Center Plan July 31

The developers of a shopping center on East 10th Street in Cookeville have until July 31st to submit their final Planned Commercial Development (PCD) plan.

Cookeville Planning Director John Ward said developers understand the deadline.

“I don’t know where they are in the process,” Ward said, “We have met with them multiple times and they are aware of the deadline, the deadline that is forthcoming.”

While they have met multiple times, Ward said the developers have not indicated how close they are to finalizing.

“I really couldn’t answer where they are in their time line for preparing the final plan for submission,” Ward said, “But we have not received a final submission as of yet.”

The July 31st deadline extension was the final extension that could be exercised by the developers.
