Dead Zero Shooting Park has opened in Van Buren County.
It’s not even been open a month yet and owner Justin Whaley is already calling it the state’s premier shooting destination.
“We are the only facility of this scale in Tennessee,” Whaley said. “The next closest facility of our size and caliber would be the CMP Marksmenship Park down in Talladega, Alabama.”
The new shooting park includes multiple ranges and a 4,000 square foot club house featuring a 1,500 square foot pro shop.
Whaley said a 6,000 square foot expo center capable of hosting large events, indoor air rifle, and indoor archery will also be built in the near future.
Next month the park plans to open a 3D archery course that will feature life-sized 3D wildlife targets. The course will boast 20 targets through beautiful pristine forest and incorporate shooting from elevated positions
Dead Zero Shooting park has already been chosen to host the Tennessee Sporting Clays Association State Championship this year.
