Danner: Confidentiality Key For Early Negotiations

Confidentiality is an important part of negotiations between businesses and government.

Overton County Executive Ben Danner said a breach of confidentiality is what gave his county a shot at a new business for the Rickman area.

They were set to go into another county and the county brought up some stuff about it, told their name in a meeting, and they came out of that county and to our county, and I’d like to keep in my county. I told them I wouldn’t say the name of it, the name of it right now is Project Go Bears, that’s all I can say,” Danner said.

Danner said he thinks an announcement on the Rickman project might come in early 2018.

The last two major business announcements in Putnam County were given code names, as well.
