A Cumberland County man faces more time behind bars after exchanging child pornography in prison.
A federal judge sentenced 29-year-old Christopher David Grippe to an additional 23 years.
Federal officials said Grippe had a smuggled cell phone in prison. On a tip, prison guards searched Grippe’s cell and found the phone, which had 161 images and 38 videos. Grippe was trying to upload the files online and was receiving messages through the Kik messaging app.
Grippe was serving an 8-year sentence for possessing child pornography. He was originally sentenced in 2012.
