Cumberland County authorities have identified the person who died during a Saturday night shooting in Lake Tansi.
Sheriff Casey Cox said 74-year-old Linda Damewood of Crossville was found dead at the scene. Authorities did not release the names of two other victims who suffered injuries.
A CCSO press release said the incident took place at a home on 8610 Cherokee Trail. Multiple agencies responded to the home for a reported shooting at approximately 6:38 p.m.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
