Early Saturday morning, Cumberland County deputies encountered four people in a vehicle in the Budget Inn parking lot. The car windows were rolled down and the occupants reportedly “seemed nervous.”
When asked whether they had anything illegal in the car, 41-year-old Daniel Lewis Gee of Crossville handed over a black case that contained meth, a 15mg Morphine pill, half an Oxycodone tablet and a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
Gee was charged with manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth, and two counts of simple possession. His bond was set at $8,000. Gee is due in court December 3.
