Cumberland Co. Approves Broadband Community Resolution

The Cumberland County Commission has approved a resolution designating the county as a Broadband Ready Community.

County Mayor Kenneth Carey said the designation will assist local broadband companies with applying for state grants that would help to increase local coverage.

It gets the county in compliance with one of Governor Bill Haslam’s agenda items from earlier this year.
