Cumberland County deputies are continue their search for a man who led officers on a high speed pursuit last weekend.
According a police report, a man driving a black Honda fled from authorities as they attempted to stop him for a seatbelt violation on Westel Road near Interstate 40. Deputies said the unidentified motorist sped away on eastbound Interstate 40 at speeds over 130-miles per hour.
The chase ended at miler marker 347 in Roane County when officers found the vehicle abandoned.
