A Cumberland County Grand Jury has indicted a Crossville woman for a May 2017 crash that injured a Crossville attorney.
The indictments handed down Monday charge 28-year-old Nicole LouAnn O’Neal with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, and DUI.
Police said the crash happened on East First Street when an officer attempted to stop a 2012 Honda allegedly driven by O’Neal.
A report said that O’Neal crashed into a vehicle driven by Crossville Attorney Jonathan Hamby, causing his vehicle to overturn.
At the time of her arrest, a police report quoted O’Neal telling police that she had done so much meth that she could not be hurt.
Hamby suffered injuries in the crash, but has since recovered.
