Crossville PD Receives Grant From Walmart

The Crossville Police Department has received a $3,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation.

Police Chief David Beaty said the department plans to spend the money on new equipment and training for both officers and the community.

“This is a great program and we really appreciate the recognition of our officer’s efforts and thank Walmart for their support,” Beaty said.

Each year Walmart awards grant money to police departments and other nonprofit organizations to support public safety, training, and new equipment.
