Crossville Police Lt. Brian Eckelson said residents need to use their headlights properly when driving.
Eckelson penned an extensive social media post for the Crossville Police, noting using headlights can prevent accidents.
Headlights provide light in the darkness, but also let oncoming drivers see your car, Eckelson said.
According to state law, motorists must use headlights 30 minutes before sunset and 30 minutes after sunrise. Headlights must also be used when weather permits, like rain, snow or fog.
