Crossville Man Pleads Guilty To Minor Charge Related To Capitol Riot

A Crossville man has pleaded guilty to a minor protesting charge related to the U.S. Capitol riots on January 6th.

During a plea hearing on Tuesday, 28-year-old Bryan Wayne Ivey admitted to knowingly entering restricted areas of the Capitol.

Ivey pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor of parading, demonstrating, or picketing inside Capitol grounds. He will pay the United States $500 in restitutions, in addition to facing possible prison time, probation, or another fine.

Ivey original faced four charges at his arrest on March 4th. Those have since been dropped as a part of his plea agreement.
