A Crossville man died Saturday while working to build a radio tower in Cookeville.
The accident happened in Southwest Cookeville in the area of Franklin Court and Heathwood West Drive.
According to Putnam County emergency officials, 30-year-old Kenny Waddell was helping install the radio tower when it collapsed. Waddell was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s office responded to investigate.
Family members have set up a GoFundMe account to help with funeral expenses. Kenny Waddell left behind a wife and five children.
