Crossville Man Charged With DUI Following Crash In Cumberland Co.

Authorities have charged a Crossville man with DUI following a wrong-way crash on Interstate 40 in Crossville today.

Officials said the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. near mile marker 316.

Authorities have identified the man as 43-year-old Dillon F. Smith.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Smith was driving a black Dodge pickup east in the westbound lanes when he crashed into two tractor trailers.

No injuries were reported and Smith was transported to the Cumberland County Jail for booking.
