Centennial Park will present Crossville’s 4th of July Celebration Tuesday Night.
Leisure Services Program Coordinator Mason Fox said the park has hosting Crossville’s celebration for over 30 years. He said the celebration is one of the park’s favorite events because of how it brings the community together.
“We just love everyone being in the park and just being together in one area and having a chance to see fireworks,” Fox said. “The City and the City Manager and the City Council are great to sponsor that and give us the ability to do that.”
Fox said there will be concessions open in both the park parking lots and concession center leading up to the fireworks show. He said there will be live music in the park as well.
“That will start from 5:30 and will go to 8 in the Turner parking lot,” Fox said. “And that’s the Tucker and the Highland band.”
Fox said the firework show will start at approximately 9 pm. He said the fireworks will be shot off rain or shine and the show should last about 15 minutes. He said anywhere within a mile on either side of the park will be a good vantage point to watch the fireworks.
“Anywhere on Industrial Boulevard back until Genesis Road is a good location to come in, entering or exiting,” Fox said.
