The Crossville City Council voted Tuesday to extend city manager Greg Wood’s contract.
Councilwoman Pamela Harris said keeping Wood as the city manager would be beneficial for Crossville.
““I just feel like it would show some consistency and continuity going forward and we need that,” Harris said.
The contract will keep Wood as city manager until March 2020.
“He’s done a good job,” Councilwoman Pamala Harris said. “He came in at a difficult time to serve on the council the first couple years I served. I feel like he’s done a good job in helping us to come back from some of those difficulties.”
Crossville has seen an increase in sales tax revenue since Wood was first appointed Crossville City Manager by Council.
