A Crossville man charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after police found a runaway juvenile at his apartment.
18-year-old Brian Dewayne Clark found with the minor Thursday afternoon. Union County Police reported the runaway could be in Crossville after examining Snap Chat conversations between the two. The Union County investigator also pinged the girl’s phone and found she had been at 46 Harper Lane for four hours.
Crossville Police questioned Clark who refused to give the girl’s name when initially questioned. The girl, when questioned by police, told officers “to figure out who she really was” according to police reports. Union County Police sent a picture of the girl for a positive identification. The juvenile said she came willingly to Crossville.
The juvenile was held until her grandmother picked her up.
Crossville Police seized an Apple I-Phone, a tablet, a chromebook and a phone from the residence. Union County Police did not press chargers.
