CRMC Partnering With Tennessee Tech For Corporate Sponsorship

Cookeville Regional Medical Center is set to partner with Tennessee Tech in a new corporate sponsorship for marketing materials.

The Board of Trustees Finance Committee approved the contract at its meeting Tuesday night. Committee Chair Danny Rader said it will include advertising at Tucker Stadium, the baseball fields and the Hoop.

“And I think that benefits the hospital, I think it benefits the student-athletes, I think it benefits the members of the public and our partners at Tier 1 and other places where we treat these patients,” Rader said. “And I hope that we have the opportunity to build on that partnership and expand that partnership. It’s a tiny dollar figure for the value and benefit that we’re getting.”

Rader said it is about $24,000 annually. He said it will include t-shirt giveaways, street banners and other advertising materials.

CEO Buffy Key said the discussions about this partnership started a year or so ago when CRMC partnered with Tier One for an expanded sports medicine program. She said in an effort to maintain that good relationship, they wanted to see how else the two entities could mutually benefit.

“So we wanted to do that,” Key said. “And I love seeing our signs up there so it’ll be great.”

Communications Supervisor Hannah Davis said though the partnership started last year marketing efforts have been going on and are set to increase in the future.
