Crews Respond To Livingston Home Fire, No Injuries

A Livingston home has been deemed a complete loss after catching on fire late Friday morning.

Livingston fire crews responded to the fire on the corner of Henson and Spring Street at 11:50 a.m. Fire Chief Rocky Dial said the family was away from the home resulting in no injuries.

“It was an older house. Two stories above ground, one below ground,” Dial said. “It was probably 75 to 80 percent involvement upon arrival. We had heavy smoke and flames visible out of probably 75, 80 percent of the windows.”

Dial said the department called for assistance from the Monroe Fire Department. Crews were on the scene for about two hours. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
