A vehicle crash has backed up traffic on Interstate 40 in Cumberland County.
The crash first reported around 12:30 p.m. near westbound mile marker 316.
Reports from the Tennessee Highway Patrol indicate that a black Dodge pickup was traveling East on I 40 West when it crashed head-on into two tractor trailers.
Westbound lanes are completely blocked at this time and the accident isn’t expected to be cleared until 7:30 p.m.
The THP has provided no additional details.
