CPD, SWAT Responding to Barricaded Suspect

Cookeville’s SWAT Team has responded to a residence along Bunker Hill Road in which a subject has barricaded himself inside.

Cookeville Police Captain Bobby Anderson reports the man has threatened suicide and other individuals.

Anderson said police are working to resolve the issue and have blocked Bunker Hill Road south of McKinley Street and north of West Cemetary Road.

Cookeville Police say there is no danger to the public. Anderson said more information will be released at a later time.
