This pageant is a fundraiser event for Lindsay Culkin-Kockx and her family.
Lindsay has been struggling with breast cancer and she will be undergoing surgery, as well as aggressive treatment in the upcoming weeks.
Profits from this event will go directly to Lindsay and her family to help while she is out of work.

Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program Available At The Millard Oakley Public Library. The Library participates in this program by providing prizes to preschoolers for reading. The child writes down 100 book titles they have read alone or with their caregiver. They turn in each sheet and get a prize, the biggest prize is after they have read their 1000 books!

The 30th Annual Putnam County YMCA Turkey Trot is happening on November 28th!
The Turkey Trot 5K will be taking place from 8:00am – 10:30am, and the entry fee is $32.80 (prices will increase after October 31st).
The Kids one mile Gobble Wobble will be taking place on the same day from 7:30am – 7:55am, and the registration fee will be $1.72. 
Proceeds from this race will benefit the YMCA’s Annual Giving Campaign which funds our many outreach programs like Learn to Swim, Go Pink Recovery Program, the Cancer Recovery Program, and Open Doors.

Start at either museum between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Complete this activity to be entered in a prize drawing. Each month has a different theme.

Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program Available At The Millard Oakley Public Library. The Library participates in this program by providing prizes to preschoolers for reading. Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program Available At The Millard Oakley Public Library. The Library participates in this program by providing prizes to preschoolers for reading. Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program Available At The Millard Oakley Public Library. The Library participates in this program by providing prizes to preschoolers for reading. The child writes down 100 book titles they have read alone or with their caregiver. They turn in each sheet and get a prize, the biggest prize is after they have read their 1000 books!

The second annual Miss banana pudding pageant will be held on Saturday, April 5th!
This event is in coordination with the banana pudding festival happening the same day and the winners will have appearances at the festival. This pageant will be open to boys ages 0 – 5 and girls and women of all ages. 
The deadline to register for this event will be March 5th at noon. 
This event is an item drive that will support local special needs classrooms.
