Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability (UCAAAD) is now offering application assistance with SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, for adults 60 and over or individuals with a disability to provide eligible individuals with monthly benefits to buy food. Applicants 60 and over or an individual with a disability can now call the UCAAAD SNAP Benefits Coordinator at (931) 432-4111 for free and confidential application assistance.

Students ages 6-12 learn simple, effective self-defense techniques that allow them to take advantage of their personal strengths.

COVID-Related Mortgage Help Offered!

The TNHAF program was established to provideassistance to income-eligible Tennessee homeowners who are experiencingfinancial hardship associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Recipients may applyfor and receive assistance up to $40,000 per household for past due mortgagepayments, property taxes, insurance premiums, HOA fees and other specifiedhousing costs.

TNHAF funds will be used to eliminate or reduce pastdue payments and other delinquent amounts, including payments under aforbearance plan.

Tennessee residents who wish to apply for the TNHAFprogram can visit thda.org/HAF to access the online portal and begin theapplication process.
