Enroll A Child In The Imagination Library

Every child should have access to books! Tennessee’s statewide Imagination Library is FREE and open to all eligible-age children in Tennessee at no cost to families and regardless of income. The books in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library are selected by a blue ribbon committee of childhood education experts. If you would like to enroll your child, you may fill out a registration form at the Art Circle Public Library.

Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability (UCAAAD) is now offering application assistance with SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, for adults 60 and over or individuals with a disability to provide eligible individuals with monthly benefits to buy food. Applicants 60 and over or an individual with a disability can now call the UCAAAD SNAP Benefits Coordinator at (931) 432-4111 for free and confidential application assistance.

Yard Sale For Cancer Benefit

Beverly Johnson will be taking donations for a yard sale for a woman in the community who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She will be taking donations September 7th from 7-5 pm at Center Grove Community Center. The yard sale will be held the following two days. All proceeds will go to funeral funds in hopes to get the funeral pre-paid for prior to her passing. For more information call 931-858-5055.
