Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability (UCAAAD) is now offering application assistance with SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, for adults 60 and over or individuals with a disability to provide eligible individuals with monthly benefits to buy food. Applicants 60 and over or an individual with a disability can now call the UCAAAD SNAP Benefits Coordinator at (931) 432-4111 for free and confidential application assistance.

The Cane Creek Gymnasium would like to invite you to take part of our fist ever Walking Club. Registration for the club opens July 5th and the price is just $5.00 to register. Walking will take place in the Gym on Tuesday and Thursday beginning August 17th at 8am and end March 31st 2022. Daily walking cost is just $1.00. All laps walked in the gym will be counted towards a total of miles walked. The person who walks the most miles will earn a gym pass worth 35 regular visits! Bring your 3-5 year old children to Imagine Foundry for Mini Makers, a class where Preschoolers will love expressing themselves while exploring various materials and tools. Students will make n’ take various creations using each new skill and new type of material. Students will learn school readiness skills by:
*Practicing maker space safety
*Learning safe scissor and glue usage
*Exploring common crafting materials
*Applying knowledge of tools and materials to create

 Coach Petreva Hobbs of Daniel 1 Academy, will be hosting 2 Volleyball clinics. The Beginners Clinic will be 8am-12pm July 7-9. The Intermediate/Advanced Clinic will be 1pm-5pm July 7-9. Cost is 60.00 per clinic.  Focusing on skills and drills that will advance a child’s knowledge of the game. Registration is open and space is available in each session.
