Cookeville Woman Arrested For Meth Possession Monday

Cookeville Police arrested a woman Monday for possessing more than 10 grams of methamphetamine.

22-year-old Candice Nicole Lindsey faces a charge of manufacture, delivery, sell, or possession of meth.

According to arrest warrants, Lindsey gave officers permission to search her vehicle during a traffic stop on Highway 70. While searching the vehicle, officers found a diaper bag containing a set of digital scales, $760, and 15 grams of meth inside five separate baggies.

Lindsey has since posted a $10,000 bond and will make her initial court appearance July 22.
