Cookeville Traffic Stop Nets Marijuana, Cash

THP troopers found more than 5 pounds of marijuana during a Cookeville traffic stop last week.

A written statement from the THP said Trooper Mike Loftis noticed an odor of marijuana when he approached the vehicle.

Loftis and K-9 officer Euro discovered $1,500 cash, five pounds of marijuana, 3 pounds of marijuana butter, and various candies with varying levels of THC, as well as other items used for packaging and sale.

The driver, Esther Fass of New York, and passenger Mark Korn of California, were arrested and charged with possession with intent to resale.
