Cookeville Planning Commission approved Monday night the resubmission of the preliminary plat for Claremont Subdivision.
The 11 lots will be constructed at 507 Stevens Street by Bernhardt Construction. Work has begun on the development of the subdivision.
The commission also voted to accept the final plat of University Park, the 18-lot development on Chestnut Avenue between Third and Fourth Streets. University Park includes 17 townhomes. The final plat of Downton North Phase I also received approval. The eight lots are located on East Hudgens Street.
A six-month extension on the Westbrook Farms Subdivision received approval from planning commission. The phase two plan includes 30 lots along Cora Road.
Commissioners re-elected James Stafne as chairman and Judy Jennings as vice chair.
