Cookeville Police have arrested at least five people heading to the Bonaroo Music Festival.
“Folks who travel through don’t obey the speed limits and other traffic laws and as a result traffic stops occur,” Cookeville Police Major Carl Sells said. “We have some drug related arrests, but nothing that would involve pounds or anything along those lines.”
Sells said in one traffic stop officers arrested a West Virginia man who had 10 grams of MDMA in his possession. Another man from Kentucky found with 10 grams of cocaine, two grams of ecstasy, and five grams of psilocybin.
