Cookeville officers responding to a single-vehicle accident discovered the body of a man dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
Police on Monday responded to a crash on Skyline Drive. Upon arrival they discovered the body of 55-year-old Rodney Morgan inside the vehicle. He had injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
Police are still investigating. They encourage the public to contact them if they have any information regarding Morgan’s death.
