The Cookeville Ninja Challenge. A new opportunity coming to the community Saturday that will raise funds for the Hope Center Adoption and Family Services.
The private domestic infant adoption agency supports pregnant women and foster families. Executive Director Crystal Young said the course is 125 feet of obstacles requiring balance and strength.
“It’s something that we have dreamed about for quite some time,” Young said. “Wanting to bring a family fun event to Cookeville. You don;t have to be a ninja to compete. It is just a fun way to get out and get active.”
Young said you can purchase tickets to compete in-person at the event. It starts at 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Hyder-Burks Pavilion. Young said the proceeds will go towards the organizations adoption services.
Young said the event is free to attend as well. There will be several vendors and food trucks available.
