Cookeville Police have charged a man with child abuse following a domestic incident that took place Wednesday.
27-year-old Kyle Allen Jones is under a $10,000 bond at the Putnam County Jail.
Cookeville Police said Jones allegedly held his 16-month-old baby upside down when he became upset over not having baby wipes to change the child’s diaper.
A warrant for his arrest stated that the mother grabbed the child and that Jones shoved the woman into a laundry closet.
His court date not yet announced.
