Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Cookeville man Tuesday for allegedly kicking his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach.
Authorities have charged 36-year-old Bradley Steven Simpson with domestic assault and assault of a fetus.
A warrant against Simpson alleges that he previously threatened that he would hurt the baby and cause the seven months pregnant victim to have a miscarriage.
Simpson remains behind bars on $7,000 bond.
