A Cookeville man was airlifted to Vanderbilt after a Thursday evening crash on Highway 135.
According to the THP, John D. Overstreet was also cited for improper passing in the incident.
Overstreet reportedly passed several vehicles before crashing into a Chevrolet 1500 driven by Janet Nash.
Nash and three children in her vehicle were taken to Cookeville Regional Medical Center by private vehicle as a precaution. All five people involved were wearing their seat belts.
