Cookeville Lane Closure This Week At Jackson and Willow Intersection

Part of the intersection at Cookeville’s Jackson Street and South Willow Avenue will be closed this week.

“The westbound lane on the East side of the intersection is going to be closed periodically throughout the next couple of days,” Cookeville Police Detective Bobby Anderson said. “Frontier Communications is going to be conducting some utility work there.”

Anderson said drivers should slow down when traveling through the area and watch out for workers.

“If you could avoid the area, that would be helpful in reducing the amount of traffic coming through that intersection,” Anderson said.

The closure will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
