Cookeville HS Tennis Court Getting New Surface

Cookeville High School is getting a new surface for its tennis court.

Deputy Director of Schools Tim Martin said the winning bid has been awarded for roughly $46,000. Martin said the tennis upgrades will begin the middle of this month.

He said the hopeful completion date is for the middle of August, near the start of school. He said the project will include stripping the old court surface off, replacing it over the top of a concrete pad.
