Cookeville Hobby Lobby Reopens At Jackson Plaza

Cookeville’s Hobby Lobby has reopened at its new location in Jackson Plaza.

The national craft and hobby goods retailer officially opened Monday morning.

Jackson Plaza was purchased last year by Rise Partners in Chattanooga. Construction on the former Sears location began last winter to split the storefront into two separate entities, with Hobby Lobby taking 55,000 of the facility’s 75,000 square feet of space.

The remaining 20,000 square feet of space will be occupied by HomeGoods, which is expected to open later this summer.

Hobby Lobby was previously located on South Jefferson Avenue next to the Dollar General Market. Future plans regarding the now-former Hobby Lobby location have not been announced at this time.
