Cookeville Electric Crews Returning From Florida

Cookeville Electric crews are returning home after helping restore power to a Florida community effected by Hurricane Michael.

The city deployed two crews to help in the aftermath of the hurricane that devastated parts of the Florida panhandle.

The second crew was deployed Friday to relieve another Cookeville Electric crew that was already in Blountstown assisting with relief efforts.

The city released a statement thanking the crews for their efforts as they return home Tuesday.
