Cookeville High School Boys Basketball Coach Kevin Bray will step down from his position.
Principal Dr. Linda Nash made the announcement Tuesday morning via a press release. Nash stated that Bray will remain on staff as a classroom teacher at CHS.
Assistant Coach Matt Hill will serve as the interim head coach until a full-time replacement can be found.
Newly-hired executive principal Max Petett will organize the selection process. The release indicates the search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
